All Speakers will be contacted via email with details for participation. All On-Demand sessions will be sent direct to email, for each registrant.

New entrants to the NTIA's BEAD program could spell some complexities for how fiber and fixed wireless access technologies get funded and consequently rolled out.

Unlicensed fixed wireless and LEO (Low-earth orbit) satellite providers now participate in BEAD, but not so fast, as "technical and operational capacity" will need to be determined to deliver LEO and alternative services in particular areas.

The bottom line is to serve rural and underserved areas with ubiquitous connectivity.  From a business perspective, deciding which technology should be implemented, or which technology should replace an existing build will be the discussion going forward when it comes to welcoming unlicensed fixed wireless and satellite providers to the BEAD program.
