Objective:

Scaling Open RAN has the potential to transform the way CSPs build and deploy mobile networks, offering greater flexibility, cost savings, and improved network performance.  When scaling Open RAN, there are several key considerations, including security, network deployment time and cost, and the role of software and the cloud. While there may be challenges in scaling Open RAN, these can be overcome by adopting a strategic approach and considering the potential hurdles upfront.  On this session, we are joined by Juan Carlos Garcia, SVP of Technology Innovation and Ecosystems at Telefonica, next we have Gilles Garcia, Sr, Dir. and Business Lead for the Data Center & Communications Group at AMD and last, we have Utpal Mangla, GM of Edge Cloud and IBMs Cloud Platform.
